In May, students from the Sports Policy course in the Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management had the opportunity to visit Spain's major sports institutions: the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) and the Higher Sports Council (CSD).
At the COE they were received by Sports Director Ricardo Leiva, who gave an interesting presentation on the operations of the institution, the Olympic values and the classification system for the Spanish Olympic Team.
In their visit to the CSD they were attended to by Executive Advisor Carlota Castrejana. Castrejana gave a speech in the same room where the Council's highest governing bodies meet, in which he broke down the actions implemented by the government in the last legislative session to improve sports. The group was also able to participate in training sessions for top-level athletes at the Madrid High Performance Center.
