German television visits the Real Madrid Graduate School-Universidad Europea

30 jun 2016

Many soccer coaches and physical trainers have increased their knowledge thanks to the Real Madrid Graduate School-Universidad Europea. Each year the campus welcomes students and sports professionals from Spain and abroad.

Like other media, the television channel ARD Alpha wanted to learn more about the Real Madrid Graduate School-Universidad Europea academic programs. They did so along with Marc Meister, a German soccer coach linked to the Karlsruher SC team and student of the Master's in Soccer Coaching.  According to Meister, “one of the main reasons for studying the Master's in Soccer Coaching was to acquire new and improved knowledge. Unlike the UEFA-Pro training programs, designed for an elite professional profile, this Master's offers a more cross-disciplinary education for all profiles”.

During the visit to the facilities, ARD Alpha closely followed the training of Marc Meister and daily life on campus.  The Master's, which is based on practical training with an international focus, offers in-depth knowledge of the most successful models in Spanish and European soccer.

Marc Meister stressed to the German channel thathaving the chance to learn about the methodology of Spanish or Real Madrid soccer and, at the same time, improving my soccer vocabulary applied in Spain have been very enriching. I’m sure I will implement the knowledge I have acquired from the Master's in my work; it is an ideal degree program for people looking to follow a career as a soccer coach”, he said.
