Students from the School of Sports and Exercise Sciences and the School of Biomedical and Health Sciences will take part in the 1st Edition of the Charity Race Circuit organized by the Fundación Real Madrid. The students will carry out various duties at what will be the last race of the circuit on January 15, in Madrid.
Double degree CAFYD + Physical Therapy students will offer a series of treatments to runners who need them after the race. The care given to runners will be supervised by a professor at the marquee installed by the Universidad Europea. Meanwhile, CAFYD and double degree CAFYD + Sports Management students will conduct two studies to assess the race technique, and event management and sponsorship.
The Universidad Europea is one of the main collaborators in organizing this initiative by the Fundación Real Madrid. A successful first edition with races in various Spanish cities such as Murcia, Ourense or Alhaurín de la Torre (Málaga). The Universidad Europea couldn’t miss a charity event like this, showing its support and providing everything attendees need while offering students an educational experience by involving them in real situations.
The last race on the circuit will start and end at the Santiago Bernabéu esplanade with a 5k, 10k and children’s race. Anyone interested in taking part in the Fundación Real Madrid Charity Race has until January 12 to sign up at the following link: http://runningfundacionrealmadrid.es/circuito/madrid/
