Club Movistar Inter and the Universidad Europea have ratified the collaboration agreement they have been implementing in recent seasons. The club based in Torrejón de Ardoz will continue to receive students from the dual degree in Sports and Exercise Sciences and Physical Therapy so they can complete their vocational training with intensive internships at the indoor soccer club's physical therapy department.
The “Interista Museum”, at the Jorge Garbajosa sport center in Torrejón de Ardoz, was the venue chosen for signing the agreement on September 29. Several members of the Universidad Europea were at the event, led by Francisco López Varas, dean of the School of Sports and Exercise Sciences. Movistar Inter was represented by its General Manager, José Carlos Delgado, and José Prieto, head of the physical therapy department.
After ratifying the agreement, Francisco López said that “this signing is an excellent way to end students’ training. This agreement will give our students better training, and make them into be better professionals in the future”. According to the head of the Movistar Inter physical therapy department, “we only have good things to say about this agreement, we are really pleased with this initiative that binds us to the Universidad Europea”.
