Based on Sydney Pollack's “They Shoot Horses Don't They?,” it dramatizes the dance marathons held during the Great Depression in the United States in which couples had to dance continuously, day and night, until they couldn't continue. They were truly miserable spectacles.
Throughout his extensive career, Félix Estaire has acted in over 30 plays and directed more than 25 professional and student plays.
