A delegation from Universidad Europea de Valencia took part in the Global Summit of Women 2016, held in Warsaw from June 9 to 11. During the seminars, 1,000 guests, including politicians, executives from major corporations and entrepreneurs, analyzed how to increase the presence of women and their leadership in the economy of the digital era.
Students from the Graduate Degree in Accreditation on Boards of Directors and Good Governance at Universidad Europea de Valencia, as well as professor Eva Turanzo and Rosa Sanchidrián, director of the Department of Graduate Studies at Universidad Europea de Valencia, had the chance to hear the thoughts of outstanding figures such as the director general of UNESCO, the Mayoress of Warsaw or the Vice-president of Vietnam, among others.
This business forum, equivalent to the “Davos Summit” has been seeking how to increase economic opportunities for women by exchanging ideas and strategies for a quarter of a century, while acting as a meeting point for executives, politicians, activists and entrepreneurs from around the world.
