During the month of July, Universidad Europea held the different commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2017-18. Over 6,000 graduates on the Madrid, Valencia, and Canary Islands campuses and at the Real Madrid–Universidad Europea Graduate School celebrated the end of their studies by receiving their diplomas.
At Universidad Europea de Madrid, over 4,500 students from Career and Technical Education, Undergraduate and Master's degrees graduated, accompanied by renowned professionals from the health, technology, airline, and business sectors. At Universidad Europea de Valencia, Margarita Soler, President of the Consell Jurídic Consultiu (CJC); and Salvador Navarro, President of the Business Confederation of the Valencian Community (CEV) were the guest speakers for the close to 900 graduates.
The Real Madrid Graduate School – Universidad Europea hosted the European Commissioner for Climate Action and Energy, Miguel Arias Cañete, who was the guest speaker for the Class of 2017-18, which consisted of over 492 students. Finally, Universidad Europea de Canarias held its graduation ceremony at the Puerto de la Cruz Convention Center, awarding diplomas to over 150 graduates from its Bachelor's, Graduate, and Master’s degrees, with Fernando López Arvelo from Grupo Fedola as the guest speaker.
