The Universidad Europea has successfully organized a new edition of Global Career Week for students at the Campuses in Madrid, the Canary Islands and Valencia. The sessions were attended by various experts in Human Resources and professionals from major corporations.
The Canary Islands Campus held its Global Career Week with activities focusing on employability and trends in the careers of the future such as developing applications, digital fingerprints or implementing new applications. Regarding employability, a debate was held on the future of physical therapy, self-employed work, improving a résumé, or employability in the single market. This lecture was offered by Justo Artiles, managing director of the Canarian Company for Economic Development (Proexca).
At the Madrid Campus, students had the chance to discover the keys to successfully overcoming any selection process, and attended lectures offered by experts and managers from companies in the video game, marketing, biomedicine, communication, engineering and architecture sectors, among others. Guests also had the chance to hold personal interviews at the Campus.
At the Valencia Campus the event attracted more than 40 experts in employability, with activities focused on presenting the latest trends in the labor market offered by companies such as DHL, Norauto, Grupo Segura, Formica, Cruz Roja, Infojobs, Corvan, Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria La Fe, Fermax, etc.
