Universidad Europea de Canarias and the 14th Syndicate, from the Spanish Institute of Certified Public Account Auditors (ICJCE) in Tenerife, have signed an agreement through which ICJCE members interested in undergraduate, graduate, or master's degrees will have easier access to the university for the 2018-2019 academic year.
This agreement, which encompasses the universities in Madrid, Valencia, and the Canary Islands, was ratified by the rector of Universidad Europea de Canarias, Cristiana Oliveira, and the president of the 14th Syndicate of the ICJCE in Tenerife, José Manuel Rodríguez Luis. Both favorably evaluated this agreement because it will facilitate access for members to obtain qualifications they may be interested in, and also paves the way for an institutional relationship between both organizations.
For the rector of the Universidad Europea de Canarias, this signature represents a step forward in the institutional relationships that the academic organization has forged with different private and public groups in the Canary Islands, with the objective of bringing the university closer to society.
Likewise, for Rodríguez Luis, the agreement is very interesting and useful for his members, “since training for auditors is fundamental in the pursuit of quality work. As one of its primary principles, the institution promotes training and education, for present and future auditors.” Apart from that, with this type of agreement, a number of favorable conditions is conceded for the collective, and it facilitates the possibility of carrying out common interest activities between the two institutions.
