On Friday, July 15, our Campus held the University Innovation Seminar for the first time as part of the general program of UE University Innovation Week, which has positioned Universidad Europea as a benchmark forum for exchanging experiences in educational innovation. The event was open to High School teachers, as well as further education professors from other public and private universities.
It focused on a variety of current topics in the classroom, such as applying emotional intelligence to teaching methods, the problems experienced by students when passing from High School to University, and curricular sustainability. Various round tables, workshops, debates, conferences and opportunities for participants to exchange best practices were scheduled throughout the day. Topics such as project-based learning, or collaborative learning using technology were also a major part of the workshops included in the program, which were a success in terms of participation and engaging the teachers taking part in the initiative.
