The Universidad Europea has called the 9th edition of the Young Social Entrepreneurs Awards (JES), which aim to reward social initiatives and give visibility to projects that can inspire society. The #JESAwards target young social entrepreneurs aged between 18 and 29, who have been conducting a social or environmental project in Spain for at least 6 months, and who seek social transformation based on fairness, justice and/or protecting the environment
Of all the candidates submitted until May 18, 10 will be chosen by an expert panel and each project will receive 3,000 euros, a specific training program, visibility for their initiative and the support of a major international network. These Awards are an initiative organized by the Universidad Europea in collaboration with Laureate International Universities, as part of the YouthActionNet of the International Youth Foundation, and they are a benchmark for young social entrepreneurship.
The winners will become part of a National and International Network of Young Social Entrepreneurs where they can share initiatives, resources, contacts and best practices. These Awards are a platform to give visibility to their work and to leverage synergies with other entrepreneurs from previous editions.
