The Universidad Europea has received ISO 14001 / 2015 Environmental certification for its campuses in Valencia and the Canary Islands, and for the clinics at its campuses in Madrid and Valencia. With this certification, the Universidad Europea reinforces its commitment to responsible environmental management by promoting environmental protection and preventing pollution, as well as reducing the environmental impact of its activities.
Furthermore, to mark receiving the ISO 14001/2015 certification, the Universidad Europea has renewed its OHSAS 18001 certificate for Prevention and Health at the Madrid, Valencia and Canary Islands campuses, and at its clinics by unifying the procedures for both certificates and creating a single commitment policy at the university for safety and the environment.
According to Jorge Cordero, head of Prevention, Health and Environment at the Universidad Europea, “these internationally renowned certificates verify that the Universidad Europea operates according to the standards it must meet, which also help to reorganize its management system and are another example of its commitment to continuous improvement in Occupational Health and Safety and the Environment”.
