01 dec 2016

The School of Social Sciences and Communication at the Universidad Europea has created the Board of Advisors for Business Studies, a consulting body which will drive synergies between companies and the university. The Board of Advisors for Business Studies will focus mainly on advising the directors of the Universidad Europea’s School of Social Sciences and Communication on internationalization, digitization, innovation, trends, competency needs and the challenges of organizations in the business world.

According to Marta Muñiz, dean of the School of Social Sciences and Communication at Universidad Europea, “this initiative will have a positive impact on our students in terms of inspiration and professionalization. Muñiz also highlighted “the added value of this new advisory body for bringing business closer to the academic world. A great opportunity for students to learn more about values and essential competencies for their professional development.”

The Committee consists of a total of seven prestigious professionals from major companies, such as Agustín Martín, Chairman of Toyota España; Almudena Román Domínguez, General Manager of ING DIRECT España; Carmen López Muñoz, General Manager of Accenture Interactive; José Manuel Petisco, General Manager of Cisco Systems España; Juan Luis Polo Hernanz, corporate General Manager of Territorio Creativo; Julius Sen, Associate Director and Senior Programme Adviser of the London School of Economics and Political Science; Pablo Campos, General Manager of Oliver Wyman Spain; and Rafael Martínez Alonso, Director of Corporate Strategy at Telefónica.
