On November 30, the 10th anniversary of the ASISA – Universidad Europea Chair was celebrated on the Villaviciosa de Odón Campus with the presentation of the 7th Chair Award and the 2016 ASISA – Universidad Europea Chair Research Grants.
The event included a round table with Dr. María Tormo, Director of Planning and Development at ASISA and co-director of the ASISA – Universidad Europea Chair, and a lecture on big data analytics in personalized medicine by Dr. Ignacio Hernández Medrano, neurologist and deputy director of the Hospital Ramón y Cajal Research Institute.
The event closed with the presentation of the 7th Award for the best transcript in the School of Biomedical and Health Sciences in the academic year 2015/2016, and the 2016 ASISA – Universidad Europea Chair Research Grants. The awards were presented by Isabel Fernández, Rector of the Universidad Europea, and Francisco Ivorra Miralles, President of ASISA.
