After the earthquake in Portoviejo (Ecuador), I wanted to do something to help the schools that were affected. “That’s how this project that we have been working on since September began.”. Motivated by this event, Adrien Pocard, a French student who is doing a double Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science and Physiotherapy, decided to start up a charitable project collecting books for children and teenagers between the ages of 5 and 17 from these schools.
This is how “Libroayuda” began. It was developed together with theRotaract Youth Club Madrid (a club belonging to the program “ROTARy in ACTion”, from the non-profit organization Rotary International). In total, more than 40 books have been collected from our Alcobendas Campusthanks to the charitable efforts of our University Community.
