On October 18, Universidad Europea rector, Isabel Fernández, welcomed the young students making up the 6th Edition of its TOP Program, aimed at high performance students. The initiative aims to complete the university education of participants with tools to promote personal and professional skill development, with an emphasis on how they add value as students in the university context and as future professionals in the progress of society. It offers personalized monitoring, language training, networking events, training adapted to their development needs and coaching. Participants also receive financial help for their studies.
This program requires a great effort from participants in terms of the training received, and a firm commitment to their studies and the university. For this reason, as highlighted by Universidad Europea rector, Isabel Fernández, the educational institution expects two things from these excellent students: setting an example and commitment. “You must be exemplary because other students look at you and we expect a commitment from you, because you have access to a priceless skills development program”, she reminded them.
Luis López, Human Resources director at Deloitte, was also at the event and was the sponsor for this edition of the TOP Program. The executive shared his vision of developing talent with the students when he compared the university years with starting a journey in which “it is important to know your path, where you are going, what for and why you have chosen it”, he explained.
