On Monday, October 3, a group of students from the School of Architecture and Engineering at the Universidad Europea de Valencia attended the Seminar on the Urban Regeneration of the area surrounding the Lonja Silk Exchange and the Central Market of Valencia.
Organized by the Regional Government of Valencia and Valencia City Hall, the students were accompanied by professor Mariano Bolant, who is chairman of the Regional Association of Architects (CTAV) and were able to see first-hand a practice, public tenders, that they will have to be familiar with in their professional future.
This Seminar, during which they also witnessed the public debate, was attended by various institutional representatives from the Regional Government and City Hall, and was a space to discuss the future of the area surrounding the Lonja Silk Exchange, Central Market and the Church of San Juan del Mercado.
