A professor at Universidad Europea de Valencia, Carlos Romà-Mateo, took part on Friday December 9 in a discussion with the title “Could we be immortal?” in the “Pep Torrent” debate hall of L’Eliana, a town in Valencia.
Romà-Mateo, a Doctor of Molecular and Cellular Biology who is currently studying matters relating to oxidative stress, was on a panel with the biotechnologist Daniel Ramón for a debate moderated by Lluís Andrés. They all discussed the longer life expectancy now emerging in developed countries thanks to scientific advances in this field.
