A few days ago, the financial director at Teidagua, who is also responsible for the management control system, Virginia Abreu, offered a master class on the cost control criteria applied at her company. The company delegate was invited by our professor Javier Marrero.
Teidagua manages the Comprehensive Water Cycle in the towns of La Laguna and Tacoronte. It serves 176,942 residents in urban centers spread over the 130 km2 occupied by both towns.
The Joint Venture was created in 1992, and from day one was equipped with the latest technology and resources necessary to successfully address the town’s challenges regarding Drinking Water Supply, Sanitation and Wastewater Treatment.
