Mayors and council members from Valencia have become students at the Universidad Europea de Valencia. Around 25 mayors and council members from all over the province are studying different programs at the Universidad Europea de Valencia as part of an agreement signed between the Universidad Europea de Valencia and the Provincial Council of Valencia, under which the University has become a training provider for the towns of Valencia.
L’Eliana, Xàtiva, Alaquàs, Catarroja, Riba-roja and Torrent, among others, are some of the town councils included in this program. It’s academic director is Rosa Sanchidrián, Graduate degree director at the Universidad Europea de Valencia, and it aims to increase the managerial and political marketing skills of mayors and council members. The Universidad Europea de Valencia also offers two mediation programs for social workers.
Álvaro Merino, expert in talent and leadership, and mentor at the Universidad Europea Real Madrid Graduate School, took part in a session on Friday, June 3, which focused on leadership and values. Upcoming sessions will also address public marketing and other related issues.
