The director of the Universidad Europea Program for Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practice, Juan José Beunza, has become an international member, renewable for another year, of the British society for IPE (Centre for the Advancement of Interprofessional Education or CAIPE).
Founded in 1987, it is a benchmark in the sector and we owe the definition of Interprofessional Education to it: “occasions when students of two or more healthcare professions learn together in order to promote collaborative practices to offer healthcare focused on the patient”.
With this appointment Beunza will share his expertise with the world’s leading references on Interprofessional Education plans, a key issue for training future healthcare professionals.
