As part of the subject Organization of Congresses and Fairs taught by professor Mercedes Sánchez, a group of 4th year Tourism Business Management students visited La Orotava Town Council to meet the team that organized the latest edition of the Short Film Festival in La Orotava.
The students were received by La Orotava Town Council protocol manager Jesús Acevedo, who offered a workshop on how to organize a press conference. The students took a photo with the mayor of La Orotava, Francisco Linares, who spoke to the press along with this year’s festival guest, famous Spanish actor Fernando Guillén Cuervo, and Miguel Ángel Clavijo, general manager of Cultural Heritage at the Canary Islands Government.
