Experts discuss innovation and improvements in the educational sector

13 jun 2017

On June 3, the HUB Emprende accelerator hosted the 3rd Openspace on “Microrrevolutions in the classroom” in collaboration with NIUCO; the session was targeted at elementary and high school teachers throughout Spain interested in learning about and sharing innovative educational methods. With a motto of “Microrrevolutions in the classroom,” Openspace is an expert forum for exchanging opinions and experiences among educators, aimed at generating innovation in classrooms. The Openspace method, which does not follow a precise schedule, made it possible to vocalize the interests and detect the concerns of attendees, who were organized into groups.

The session was attended by professionals such as National Education Prize winners Chema Lázaro (2013) and Jaione Pozuelo (2015); pediatrician and ADHD and educational neuroscience specialist Javier Blumenfield; Alcobendas City Government Councilor for Culture and Education Fernando Martínez; Marta Muñiz, Dean of the School of Social Sciences and Communication; María Pilar Laguna, Dean of the School of Legal and Social Sciences of Universidad Rey Juan Carlos; Rafael Guerrero, professor in the Educational Psychology and Evolution Departments of Universidad Complutense de Madrid; and Innobar creators Salvador Carrión and Moisés Llorente.
