Elena Pérez, a professor at the Universidad Europea de Canarias joins the Network of Multidisciplinary Tourism Studies (Remtur). This Network aims to use scientific research to reinforce innovation and competitiveness in sustainable tourism on the Yucatán Peninsula (Mexico).
The goal is to establish links between institutions to generate synergies among different academic bodies, reinforce training in human resources at these institutions, and foster teamwork.
The Network is supported by Conacyt (National Council for Science and Technology), and during the first phase of initiatives launched by the Network, Dr. Elena Pérez will collaborate by offering workshops on researching heritage.
