The School of Architecture, Engineering and Design is still committed to backing its students’ projects and research papers. Universidad Europea recognizes the concerns and interests of its students in any research field, offering them all types of resources and close monitoring by professors to develop their projects and ideas.
This is the case of Alfonso Parra, an Aerospace Engineering student. After completing an internship at Altran, his Graduation Project ended up in the hands of the director of the ProtoSpace idea incubator at Airbus as one of his professors has ties to the company. This led to Airbus getting involved in Parra’s project, and giving him a scholarship to join the Manufactural Engineering Department and the Airbus Operations idea incubator.
Meanwhile, in February Asen Lyubenov, an Industrial and Automatic Electronics Engineering student presented his GP to the best Engineering Graduation Project competition of the Autonomous Community of Madrid. The Autonomous Community of Madrid valued his project and invited him to present his graduation project to the “Formula SAE” competition on improving the ergonomics and control of a vehicle based on a steering wheel designed and printed in 3D by Lyubenov. Finally, at the award ceremony, the Autonomous Community of Madrid presented Lyubenov with the prize for the 2nd best Engineering GP in the region.
