On September 20, Doctor José Santos Carrillo, a stomatologist and full professor in Dentistry at the Universidad Europea School of Biomedical Sciences, presented his book entitled “Dentocracia Maldita”. The novel describes the adventures of a young couple in the field of dentistry. A story that covers love, heartbreak, administrative plots, corruption and entrepreneurship to open a clinic.
The book presentation, held at the headquarters of the Professional Association of Dentists and Stomatologists of the Region, was part of a round table debate entitled Can writing improve my professional activity as a dentist? chaired by the author himself. The round table included authors Carmen Posadas, Gervasio Posadas and Doctor Antonio Bascones, who also collaborated in the prologue, and finally medical novelist Carlos Leopoldo García Álvarez.
The event was also attended by the likes of Dr. Vicente Lozano de Luaces, Volunteering manager at the Vicente Ferrer Foundation; Javier Sádaba, philosopher and writer; Alberto Salmerón, rector of the Universidad de Mayores; and Isabel Fernández, rector of the Universidad Europea de Madrid.
