The students on the Sports Management and Sports Science Master's Degree are taking part in a two-week stay at the university, and they have the opportunity to enjoy various master classes and visits related to their professional field.
Andy Stewart, dean of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Science at Victoria University, and Fabio Serpiello, head of the Sports Science programme, recently visited the facilities Universidad Europea de Madrid, where they spoke with Simone Sato, dean of the Faculty Sciences of Physical Activity and Sports & Physiotherapy.
In Simone's words, "receiving the Dean and the students of Victoria University is a pleasure, and it allows us to carry out new measures to broaden this international experience for our students and researchers".
Together with them, students from the Faculty of Sports Sciences of Victoria University (Australia) also visited the extensive and avant-garde sports facilities at the university. The students of the Master's Degrees in Sports Management and Sports Science are doing a two-week stay, as part of the agreement signed between both institutions, in a special programme with the Real Madrid Graduate School-Universidad Europea.
In the first week, the students had the opportunity to enjoy various master classes and visits related to the management and operation of sports facilities. In the second week, they took part in master classes on leadership. This is the first international trip that these groups have been able to make since the pandemic began.
