Among other activities, this collaboration agreement includes a master class, round-table discussions and hackathons to improve students’ knowledge of crypto currency and blockchain technology.
The Universidad Europea and Bit2Me, the first company recognised by the Bank of Spain as a virtual currency service provider, have reached a collaboration agreement to improve our students’ knowledge of crypto currency and blockchain technology.
In the words of the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication of the Universidad Europea, Francisco García Pascual, “the agreement between the Universidad Europea and Bit2Me is exciting for our students as they can receive training in the field of technology and skills in such current high demand by companies such as blockchain technology. At the Universidad Europea, our aim is for our students to be prepared to successfully engage the challenges they will face in their professional careers. With agreements like this, we enhance our students practical learning, which is one of the pillars of the academic model of our institution”.
For Cáceres, the agreement with the Universidad Europea shows the commitment of Bit2Me to raising crypto awareness in society through establishments citizens can trust, such as universities, companies and institutions. Blockchain technology will not only revolutionise the financial world, but will also transform the productive model of society as we know it now”.
The CEO of Bit2Me, Leif Ferreira, insists that “blockchain technology will reduce costs in many private business procedures, as it is possible to remove intermediaries and improve trust, traceability and transparency in a great number of transactions which currently are neither efficient nor secure”.
The agreement between the Universidad Europea and Bit2Me includes several teaching activities such as a master class, round-table discussions and formative challenges (learning path). It also deals with the development of technological hackathons which encourage the use of B2M (Bit2Me tokens) so students can find solutions associated with blockchain technology.
All this learning will be funnelled through the Bit2Me Academy, the largest training portal on crypto currency in Spain which has already trained more than 4 million Spanish-speaking people who have attended free classes from all parts of the world.
