Once again, the Universidad Europea celebrated its student commencement ceremony with an event at the Ifema trade fair center with over 11,000 guests. As is traditional, during the ceremony the University, in its search for excellence, presented a series of recognitions to the professors who have stood out for their merits throughout the academic year.
Three special mentions were presented to professors and four to the most highly valued teaching staff from each school. Laura Amigot received the Special Mention for the Best New Professor; Pedro Pablo Arroyo, the Mention for the Most International Professor; and Helios Pareja, the Mention for the Best New Researcher.
As for the most highly valued teaching staff members from each school, this time the awards went to Eva Ropero Moriones, from the School of Social Sciences and Communication; Guillermo Castilla, from the School of Architecture, Engineering and Design; Juan Luis González Pascual, from the School of Biomedical and Health Sciences; and César Calvo, from the School of Sports and Exercise Sciences.
