The Universidad Europea de Canarias was invited by Los Realejos Council, to take part in the Culture & Urban Planning for people seminars held from November 2-7 in the town of Los Realejos (Tenerife), to present the refurbishment plan for the Hacienda La Gorvorana, developed by our students.
During the seminars, our School of Architecture professor, Pablo De Souza, and his fellow professor from the same course and president of the Tenerife branch of the Island Professional Association of Architects of the Canary Islands (COIAC), Argeo Semán, presented the specific case study of the Project Based Learning (PBL) initiative for the Hacienda de La Gorvorana.
This intervention plan is a collection of restoration and refurbishment ideas and proposals for this property and its surrounding area commissioned by the authorities of Los Realejos to our students, and presented during these architecture seminars.
Professor Argeo Semán also gave a lecture entitled Urban planning and coexistence.
