The countdown for the Commencement Ceremony has begun. This is a special moment for the whole university community, representing the magnificent finale of a key period in everyone’s lives. For this reason, and so that the graduation ceremony is a unique memory, the Universidad Europea has opened the registration period for those students who wish to be selected to give a speech that will represent the class of 2016 in their Commencement Ceremony.
Those who are interested must record a video lasting a maximum of one minute, presenting themselves and explaining the reasons why they believe they should be chosen. The video will need to be uploaded on Youtube/Vimeo and all those interested must share the link to their video with the hashtag #GraduacionUE2016 on Facebook and/or Twitter. Finally, once the previous steps have been followed, the candidates will contact the Technical Secretariat of Commencement Ceremonies by email to share the link to their video along with the reasons why they wish to represent their fellow students in the Commencement Ceremonies.
The period for applying will be open until this 7 June, when the University will carry out a pre-selection process which takes into account the student's incentive and the support obtained through the social media of the students who will best be able to represent their classmates. During the 8, 9 and 10 June, the pre-selected candidates will be asked to present a draft of their speech, lasting approximately 5 minutes, and during the week of the 13 to 17 June, after the speeches have been presented to the evaluation committee, the students who will participate in the Commencement Ceremonies will be decided.
