The Universidad Europea de Madrid has earned the accreditation of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) for the academic programs of its Business Department. The American organization has recognized the commitment of the Universidad Europea, a Laureate International Universities member, to an international educational model, connected to the professional world and of high academic quality.
Through its accreditation, the ACBSP certifies that the teaching and learning processes and the Bachelor’s Degrees in Business Administration, Marketing and Commercial Management of the Universidad Europea de Madrid meet its rigorous educational standards. Based on the criteria of the National Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award, ACBSP evaluates aspects relating to institutional leadership, strategic planning processes, community relations, the quality of academic programs, and the school’s credentials and services.
The official presentation of this award will be on June 26, 2017 in Anaheim (California), attended by representatives of the Universidad Europea. According to Marta Muñiz, Dean of the School of Social Sciences and Communication, “this accreditation shows that the Universidad Europea is committed to a comprehensive education designed to train students to be leaders who can respond to the needs of a globalized world and contribute to social progress with an entrepreneurial spirit and ethical commitment.”
