The students from the Master in Sports Law visited LaLiga

They were able to learn from one of the most important institutions in the football landscape

The students from the Master in Sports Law visited LaLiga last Friday. Carlos del Campo, The Deputy Director at LaLiga welcomed them and presented the management basics of the sports organisation, which is very important at a national and international level in the football field.

LaLiga is part of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, however they do have legal autonomy for their management and organization. The most important football competitions in the country are dependent on this institution in coordination with the Royal Spanish Football Federation.

They spoke about several topics such as the history and the role of this organization within the football world,  the main teams that are part of it from both first (20 teams) and second division (22 teams). They also learnt about the regulations of this institution. There was also a session of Q&As with the Deputy Director.

The students from the Real Madrid Graduate School – Universidad Europea acquired specific knowledge about the sport's legal scope from one of the most relevant sports institutions in Spain, providing them with a specific view of the current situation of the sport in our country, and also of its legal aspects.
