“El Mundo” considers Universidad Europea one of the best places to study Physical Therapy, Architecture, and Sports Sciences

12 may 2016

El Mundo's ranking of “The 50 degrees” for the 2016/17 academic year includes three Universidad Europea degrees, one more than in the last edition. According to the ranking, Universidad Europea is one of the five best places to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Science, a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (both degree programs also appeared in the ranking for 2015/16), and a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.

This ranking, the only one of its kind in Spanish press, proves to be a useful guide; it aims to inform the 200,000 students who will select a college or university for undergraduate studies. In the analysis, El Mundo highlights Universidad Europea's hallmark international perspective, a result of its membership in the Laureate International Universities network, along with the training the university offers, focused around students and on developing their skills.

In terms of the degrees for which the newspaper named Universidad Europea one of the best places to study, the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy ranked fifth for the 2016/17 academic year. The study highly esteemed the university's facilities, tailored to the needs of this degree and which include 12 labs with hydraulic tables, a training and human movement lab, and an anatomy lab, among others.

The Bachelor's Degree in Architecture rose to fourth place. The ranking highlights bilingual teaching as a strength, expressly mentioning the possibility of doing the entire degree in English.

Finally, the Bachelor's Degree in Sports Science remains in third place yet another year. In this case, the analysis outlines the university's research in the field, especially the skills of this program's students, who receive up to level-five sports accreditation when they graduate. Furthermore, El Mundo specifically mentions how Universidad Europea is working to reach level-six accreditation, which would make it the first Spanish university to offer it.
